The automotive industry serves as an important foundation for economic development in Thailand, where it currently accounts for 5.8% of Thailand’s GDP. Given that this industry is heavily influenced and disrupted by cutting-edge technological advances, and so as to foster continued future growth, the EEC places great importance on the production of electric vehicles (EV). This aim will first take place by operating as an OEM of battery and driving systems industries, thus expanding the value chain of the automotive industry with particular focus on surface integration design and prototyping. In addition to these, further plans for expansion call for increasing efficiency of catalytic manufacturing processes, and large-scale enhancements of electronic accessories and automotive parts production which are created in line with global standards, e.g. the production of safety components, transmission system parts, vehicle engines larger than 248 cc, and many various engine components.
