Booming Trend Towards
a Green Economy
Shifting towards an eco-friendly economy, Thailand has aimed to achieve a production of biodiesel at 14 million liters per day and bioethanol at 11.3 million liters per day within 2036. The capacity to produce Polylactic Acid (PLA) is up to 20,000 tons per year. The industry has resources available for R&D and research hubs such as Thailand Science Park, BIOTEC, TCELS, and PTIT.
