On 24 November 2025, Mr. Korkij Danchaivichit, Deputy Secretary-General of the Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO), together with EECO executives and officials, warmly welcomed the Thai–Chinese Cultural and Economic Association and a delegation of investors from Sichuan Province at the EEC Office in Bang Rak, Bangkok.
The Sichuan delegation expressed strong interest in investing in the targeted industries within the EEC, including the digital sector, next-generation automotive, and the BCG industries. Both sides also discussed potential areas for broader collaboration, while the delegation received an overview of the investment incentives and supportive policies offered within the EEC area. In addition, the Sichuan delegation affirmed their readiness to promote EEC investment opportunities and relevant policies to interested investors in Sichuan.
