A major Chinese data center operator also indicated interest in investing in a hyperscale data center in the EECd, which would significantly enhance Thailand’s digital and data-processing capabilities.
For smart industrial development, a prominent developer of next-generation industrial estates signaled readiness to conduct feasibility studies for a Smart Industrial Park and Innovation Hub in the EEC, promoting a high-quality, business-friendly environment for global investors.
EECO will continue proactive engagement with all partners to advance key strategic projects, including the Thailand–China New Technology Research Center, the hyperscale data center, the Smart Industrial Park, and the Urban Data Platform—core drivers in strengthening the EEC’s competitiveness and long-term innovation capacity.
