1. The proposal submission
The promotional zone serves as a hub for the transfer of knowledge and expertise from operators within the Special Economic Promotion Zone, educational institutions, and high-potential research organizations, in alignment with proper land-use planning, relevant laws, and considerations for community relations, public health, and environmental sustainability.

2. Documents verification
Documents required for review by the EECO include land documents, boundaries and land-use plans,
Project Feasibility Study (FS), public utility system design report, and project site survey report.

3. Public Awareness and Stakeholder Consultation
The applicant must conduct public awareness activities and gather feedback from local communities.
Before holding the consultation meeting, the applicant is required to submit the consultation plan
and supporting documents to the EECO for review. A summary of feedback is then submitted to
the EECO for approval.

4. Payment for Service Fees
The applicant must pay the service fees for the establishment or modification of a Special Economic
Promotion Zone at the rates specified by the EECO.

5. กApproval Process
The EECO submits the application to the Board of EEC for consideration and decision,
and subsequently forwards the matter to the Cabinet for acknowledgement.

6. Announcement of Establishment/Modification
in the Royal Thai Government Gazette

Once the application for Special Economic Promotion Zone is approved,
the project will be officially announced in the Royal Thai Government Gazette.
A certificate of establishment will also be issued, confirming its status
as a Special Economic Promotional Zone.
