In compliance with Section 6 (4) of the Eastern Economic Corridor Act B.E. 2561 (2018), which mandates the appropriate and sustainable utilization of land within the EEC based on local conditions and potential, the EECO has formulated a Comprehensive Land Use Plan. This plan serves as a framework for developing detailed land use plans as well as infrastructure and utilities development plans within the EEC, grounded in urban planning principles. The work involves:

1) Analyzing the physical spatial potential of the area
2) Reviewing and assessing existing land use patterns
3) Conducting a comprehensive land use analysis

The EECO, in collaboration with the Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning and other relevant agencies, will apply the detailed plan to prepare integrated land-use and infrastructure plans for the EEC. These efforts aim to ensure efficiency, practical implementation, and alignment with the overarching EEC development framework.
