Organizational Structure of the Eastern
Economic Corridor Office of Thailand (EECO)
- Responsible for administrative and academic work of the EEC Policy Committee.

Provide recommendations to the EEC Policy Committee regarding the implementation of Sections 11 and 12
of the Eastern Economic Corridor Act, B.E. 2561 (2018). -
Conduct preliminary studies and analyses of potential impacts arising from
the formulation and implementation of policies, plans, and measures related to
the development of the EEC, including proposing preventive, corrective, or remedial measures to the EEC Policy Committee. - Supervise, monitor, and report on the progress ofthe EEC development to the EEC Policy Committee at least once every three months.
- Prepare and submit an annual report on the implementation of Eastern EconomicCorridor Act, B.E. 2561 (2018) to the Cabinet, to be further presented to the House of Representatives and the Senate for acknowledgment.
- Coordinate with relevant government agencies to ensure thatthe EEC is developed in accordance with the policies, plans, and measures prescribed by the EEC Policy Committee.
- Conduct feasibility studies on the designation of Special Economic Promotion Zones.
- Invest or co-invest with domestic and foreign partiesin activities beneficial to the development of the EEC and Special Economic Promotion Zones.
- Establish limited companies or public limited companies to undertake activities beneficial to the development of the EEC and Special Economic Promotion Zones.
- Seek funds for the operation of the Office.
- Perform any other functions as prescribed under the Eastern Economic Corridor Act, B.E. 2561 (2018), other laws, or as assigned by the Cabinet or the EEC Policy Committee.
