The Service and Medical Industries Division of the Eastern Economic Corridor Office of Thailand (EECO) participated in the exhibition “Thailand ATMP Roadmap 2025”, organized by the Ministry of Public Health from 22–23 December 2025 at IMPACT Forum, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi. The event aims to drive Thailand toward becoming the regional hub for Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) in ASEAN. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Pattana Promphat, Minister of Public Health, who also visited exhibition booths from the relevant organizations during the event.
As part of the program, Mrs. Aphitchaya Srikacha, Director of the Service and Medical Industries Division at EECO, was invited as a panel speaker in the session titled “National ATMP Research and Management Plan.” The discussion included key national agencies such as the Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Program (HITAP), the Department of Medical Services, and the Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS).
During the panel, the EECO representative highlighted the EECO’s role in developing the ATMP ecosystem, creating investment incentive measures, and strengthening the linkage between research institutions, industries, and medical service providers within the EEC area to support
a fully integrated ATMP value chain.
EECO’s participation in this event underscores its commitment to contributing to Thailand’s ATMP policy, strategic direction, and action plan—driving the country toward becoming ASEAN’s leading hub for ATMP development and innovation in the future.
