EECO Partners with HKTDC to Host “GreenBiz HK Forum” to Strengthen Thai–Hong Kong Business Collaboration in Green Industries

On 18 March 2026, the Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO), in collaboration with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), a key investment promotion partner in the EEC area, hosted the “GreenBiz HK Forum” at the Grand Centre Point Lumphini Hotel, Bangkok.

The forum aimed to support Thai and Hong Kong private sector companies operating in green technology, smart cities, green finance, and ESG-related services, providing a platform to expand business opportunities. The event featured business seminars and business matching sessions to foster cross-border partnerships, attracting more than 300 participants. The opening ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, and Ms. Anna Cheung, Assistant Executive Director of HKTDC. Representing EECO, Dr. Cholachit Vorawangso Virakul, Assistant Secretary-General, also attended the event.

As part of its investment promotion efforts, EECO invited key stakeholders from the green industry ecosystem, including Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), IRPC Public Company Limited (IRPC), BLCP Power Limited (BLCP), and Thai Eastern Group Holdings Public Company Limited (TEGH), to participate in a Networking Lunch with leading Hong Kong enterprises. This engagement provided a valuable opportunity for EEC-based companies to explore business linkages with Hong Kong firms possessing advanced target technologies. In addition, HKTDC’s expertise in green services and ESG-related businesses is expected to further enhance the development of the investment ecosystem and attract new investments to the EEC in the future.
