On 19 March 2026, Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO), in collaboration with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Port Authority of Thailand, Laem Chabang Port, welcomed a delegation of 20 leading entrepreneurs and experts from Hong Kong (Hong Kong Green Team), affiliated with HKTDC, on a site visit to Laem Chabang Port in Chonburi Province.
During the visit, the delegation received a comprehensive briefing on the development of the EEC, including key infrastructure projects, the development of the EECiti, investment promotion in targeted industries, and investment incentives. The event was honored by Mr. Tienchai Makteangtrong, Director of Administration Bureau, Laem Chabang Port, who delivered the welcome remarks to the Hong Kong Green Team led by Dr. Lo Wai-kwok, Honorary Chairman of HKTDC, and Ms. Anna Cheung, Assistant Executive Director of HKTDC.
During the briefing session, Dr. Cholachit Vorawangso Virakul, Assistant Secretary-General of EECO, presented an overview of EEC development, alongside Ms. Siriporn Cholavanich, Assistant Director of the General Administration Division, who provided updates on the progress of Laem Chabang Port development projects.
